MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to anyone working within the voluntary and community sector, including NGOs, cultural and civil society organisations (Fellows – FIVSM, Senior Members – SIVSM, Members – MIVSM and Associate – AIVSM).
Corporate membership is also open to organisations (NGOs and Charitable organisations) working within the voluntary and community sector space – the Third Sector (Diamond, Gold and Silver Members). We also have Associate membership status for Corporate organisations that supply products or services to the not-for-profit sector or with robust corporate social responsibility programmes.
INVITATION TO DIRECT MEMBERSHIP
MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:
Fellows (FIVSM): Strictly by Invitation.
Senior Members (SIVSM): Higher Level qualifications such as Masters or Doctorate Degrees and minimum of 5 years’ experience, 3 of which must be at a senior management level.
Full Members (MIVSM): Holders of BA/BSc/HND or equivalent qualifications and a minimum of 3 years’ experience with middle management responsibilities.
Associate Members (AIVSM): Membership is open to holders of OND/NCE and other relevant qualifications, Corps members with Volunteering experience, academics and professional consultants who work in the sector.
Student Members: Undergraduates, Volunteers with minimum SSCE qualifications.
